Well said Dexter. I stayed up until three in the morning finishing season 4 of Dexter last night. I just had to truck through it, but the last minute of the finale really messed me up. I cried for probably an hour afterwords trying to fall asleep, and it has still made me sick to my stomach all day. I realized I get much too invested in fictional characters. Fifth Ave.
Today was a wonderous day off, starting on the UWS, and moving down to fifth avenue, where you can shop for days! Plus I had my trusty buddy, Mademoiselle Maldonado with me every step of the way! We met new people, tried on to much Chanel, and had a creepy doorman picking out candles for us. And to finish it off, we made a lovely pasta dinner, and laughed hysterically at Richard Simmons.

Jordan's Musical Obsession of the Day: A Little...
Stephen Sondheim. Europe in the early 1900’s. Beuatiful language, and an eerily haunting score that brings uproarious laughter, and unsustainable tears. This is one of my favorite of Sondheim’s scores, and overall, one of my favorite musicals. I was lucky enough to see the recent Broadway revival twice, bringing me face to face with broadway legends I only dreamed of seeing live....

Rogers and Hammerstein. Need I say more? Not only is this my favorite R&H show, with a score filled with heart wrenching ballads and hopeful melodies, but it also teaches its viewers equality, forgiveness, and appreciation for life’s beautiful gifts. Plus SAILORS!

Ill be working with designer Carol Hannah Whitfield all day at Lovely tomorrow. You might recognize her from season 7 of Project Runway? Well her wedding collection is gorgeous, and she’s a sweetheart. Plus the girls are going to freak out when I put a dress on them, and the designer comes out to talk to them about it. Precious.
